What "Pass" and "Fail" mean on a technical check

A deterministic yes/no on one specific, verifiable condition — not a partial or subjective grade.

Short answer

On a technical or AI-readiness check, "Pass" means the specific condition Growthract tested for was true. "Fail" means it was false. There is no partial-credit or "almost passing" state for a single check.

What this means

Each check tests one concrete, verifiable thing (a tag present, a file valid, a status code correct) — not an overall grade of your site. Passing every individual check is not the same as being guaranteed AI visibility or search rankings; readiness and observed visibility are evaluated separately.

What to do

Open a failed check to see exactly what condition wasn't met and on which page. Fix that specific thing, then rescan — the check re-evaluates from scratch every time.
