Scanning Your Website
Quick Scan, Expanded Scan, and Specific pages
The three scan scopes, what each one covers, and when to use it.
Short answer
Quick Scan checks a small set of priority pages fast. Expanded Scan covers more of the discovered site, up to a cap. Specific pages lets you choose the exact URLs to analyze.
What this means
Every scan mode analyzes a capped number of pages, never silently "the whole site." Your report always states exactly how many pages were analyzed out of how many were found, so you know what the findings do and don't cover.
What to do
Use Quick Scan for a fast first look. Use Expanded Scan when you want broader coverage of a larger site. Use Specific pages when you already know which pages matter most (like a pricing page or a key landing page).
Still not working?
If you need more pages analyzed than your current plan covers, that's expected — the coverage note on your report tells you exactly what was and wasn't included.
