Why a page couldn't be read during a scan
What it means when Growthract reports a page fetch failure, and what to check.
Short answer
A page fetch failure means Growthract tried to load that specific page and couldn't — the rest of your scan still completes using the pages that did load.
What this means
Your report lists exactly which pages failed and why: it timed out, returned an HTTP error, wasn't readable HTML, or hit a network error. Findings only apply to the pages that were actually analyzed.
Why this happens
Common causes: the page is slow to respond, it returned a 4xx/5xx status, a firewall or bot-protection service blocked the request, or the URL isn't publicly reachable.
What to do
Check that the page loads normally in a regular browser, without being logged in. If it's behind a firewall, login wall, or bot-protection service, Growthract's scanner won't be able to reach it either — that's expected, not a bug. Try rescanning; transient issues often clear up on a retry.
Still not working?
If a public page keeps failing to fetch, contact Support with the page URL and the failure reason shown in your report.
