Google isn't connecting, or data isn't appearing
Steps for a Search Console/GA4 connection that won't complete or shows no data.
Short answer
Google connection problems are almost always an incomplete permission grant or a mapping that doesn't point at the right property.
What to do
Check whether the connection itself failed, or whether it's connected but not mapped to the right website — the fix is different for each.
Check which one matches
The connect flow never completes, or you're bounced back with an error.
Try Connect Google again and approve every permission it asks for -- declining even one can prevent the connection from finishing. Learn more →
It says Connected, but Search Visibility still shows nothing.
Check that the Search Console property and GA4 property are actually mapped to the exact website you're auditing, in Settings → Integrations. Learn more →
Both are mapped correctly and there's still no data.
It can take Search Console a few days to accumulate data for a newly-verified property. If it's been longer than that, get help below.
